Overview:
The Holy Quran was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ in Arabic. Since Islam is a global religion, many Muslims around the world are unable to understand the Quran directly because Arabic is not their first language. This course is designed for students who want to understand the Holy Quran through proper translation. It includes word-to-word translation of the Glorious Quran along with basic explanation of Arabic syntax and grammar. Students also learn how to identify verses whose rulings are now invalid, similar-meaning ayats, and the virtues and background of important ayats. The course also provides guidance on understanding verses and surahs whose meanings may not be clear from the outward wording alone. By completing this course, students gain the ability to understand Quranic verses with translation and build a foundation in basic Quranic Arabic grammar.
Who Is This Course For?
This course is for students who can correctly read the Holy Quran and can read Urdu fairly well. Students around 16 years of age are eligible.
