Overview:
The Essentials of the Religion Course is a structured programme designed to instil Islamic values in children through captivating accounts and historical narratives derived from the Holy Quran. Since children are naturally drawn to stories, this course presents valuable moral lessons through meaningful accounts of previous nations and individuals. These stories help children understand the consequences of actions, the reward for good deeds and the importance of fearing and loving Allah Almighty. The course includes accounts such as The Wise Old Woman, The Intelligent Ant, The People of the Elephant and The Moon Split in Two. Each narrative is selected to highlight a specific moral or Islamic teaching. Through storytelling and reflection, children develop a strong moral foundation, increased love for Islamic teachings and motivation to adopt positive habits in daily life.
